Special Features of the
MIRI® GA

  1. Gas Feedback Loop

The major advantage of using MIRI® incubators is that the connected MIRI® GA enables the user to have a closed gas system where unnecessary leakage or wastage can be prevented. However, if the incubator used is not an MIRI® incubator, this feature can be used to direct gas to an exhaust if desired.

  2. Data Logger Software

MIRI® GA comes with a data logging system that could help embryologists to monitor and record each parameter and optionally send email alarms. This software runs a Windows PC (Vista and above), it is not required to install in the MIRI® GA but this feature is very useful for the end-users.

Advantages of Using
MIRI® GA

  1. MIRI® GA is a device that can measure temperature and gas concentration simultaneously, making it more efficient than conventional hand-held validating devices that require two separate devices for these measurements.

  2. The MIRI® GA continuously measures gas and temperature 24 hours a day, whereas conventional devices require to measure these parameters at regular intervals.

  3. The suction rate of the MIRI® GA is gentle and adjustable, with a 3 l/h capacity. In contrast, conventional devices can consume up to 12 l/h of gas during operation.

  4. One of the significant advantages of the MIRI® GA is its data logging software, which includes an adjustable alarm threshold not found in other conventional devices.

  5. Lastly, the MIRI® GA can monitor up to six incubation chambers simultaneously, whereas conventional devices can only validate one chamber at a time.
